It’s Really Happening

What’s really happening? Backlash from the results of this week’s historic election. Well, yeah, that’s going on – in fact that’s the reason I hopped on here. I figured I’d blog a bit and focus on something else. No need to sit around and watch the venom be spewed. And typically, right about now, I’d be plugging away editing medical reports and putting in my four hours at my transcription job. But we needed emergency maintenance because our server crashed earlier. So I can’t start work for another 40 minutes or so. So, to get back to the question – what’s really happening? Why am I a bit bajiggity over something and what could that something be? Well, last week I attended an IEP meeting for Jason where we started to discuss his transition to (gasp!) middle school. Okay, it may seem like I’m making a big joke out of this – and I am, but I have to. If I don’t maintain some level of humor with this HUGE milestone, I’ll go insane. It’s bad enough that any time I think about my little booger over at the middle school I literally get sick to my stomach. So, I absolutely use humor to get myself through anything that has to do with Jason and middle school. I mean, isn’t that one of the first things we, as special needs parents, learn to quickly develop once our child receives their diagnosis…
